Furnace with Inconel retort, filled with catalyst for dissociation of Ammonia. Suitable for atmosphere control in gas nitriding and nitrocarburizing processes or as a protective gas generator for annealing processes.
The Ammonia Dissociator is available in two sizes:
ASP 1200
- Dissociation of up to 6 m³/h Ammonia to 12 m³/h dissociated Ammonia (25% N2 + 75% H2)
- Operating Temperature 950°C, maximum Temperature 1020 °C
- Heating Power 12 kW
- Delivery complete with control. Control cabinet mounted on furnace or beside.
- Also available without controls
- Dimensions of Furnace L x W x H: 1404 x 560 x 550 mm (without control cabinet and retort)
- Process connection – ´Flange DN25 (DIN2633)
- Power Supply 400V 3 phases
- Heating enable signal with isolated contact
- Signals for „Operation Ready“ and „Failure“
- Overtemperature shutdown with melting fuse and double release contactors
- Temperature control with thermocouple type K, N or S and temperature controller
- Replacement of Heating elements possible
